I'm trying to remember.....oh, yes, it's JAK!

With Jak, it's always a busy day, and it starts early. Open the shutters, collect breakfast, begin "fixing" various things, turn yourself into a "bonkster-bonk" (derived from always going "bonkers"), and hope you can drive mom and dad out the door just a little bit sooner.

First day in the pool, he learned to blow bubbles, an activity he pursued with passion the rest of the week. However, he did actually wear himself out to the point of laying down on the floor as you see. We all enjoyed some very long naps the first few days.

The View

This is the view from the dining room window in our condo at Pueblo Bonito, Emerald Bay, which is about 2 miles outside of town on a secluded beach. Beautiful!

Mazatlan 2007

The opportunity came rather suddenly, so some of you may not know that we left for Mexico on Monday morning. The place is absolutely beautiful. Gardens, flowers, ocean views, pools, etc....postcard perfect. I will try to post some pictures a little later. Jak is having the time of his life. There are lots of 12 inch kiddie pools....which he loves, he has also learned to blow bubbles (first step to underwater) in the water, and he loves playing in the sand especially now that we got him a little shovel, etc. Tomorrow we're going to fly a kite. The ocean breezes have been perfect. Anyway, we are having a great time and also looking forward to Dawson joining us on Saturday. There's still room and time if anyone else would like to tag along!

Anyway, just wanted to post a brief update.

Walk by the River

Easter Sunday 2007. After a Sunrise (well cloud cover of 6:30am) service, we had breakfast, a nap, and returned to Steamboat for a walk along the river before Easter dinner at Ty & Betty's house.
